第一天:

发音/Pronunciation

前元音[ i ] = 英式音标[ i: ]

1、I have no time to read.  我没有时间读书。

2、He’s easy to please.  他很随和。/他很容易取悦。

3、Do you have anything to eat?  你有东西吃吗?

 

Without pronunciation, you’ll have nothing!

没有发音就没有一切!

 

第二天:

句型/Sentence Pattern

You are…  你真……

1、You are crazy.  你真是疯了!

2、You are great!  你真棒!

3、You are a pain in the neck.  你真讨厌!

4、That guy is a pain in the neck. Every time I see him he either wants to tell me his troubles or borrow some money.

那个家伙真讨厌。每次我见到他,他不是向我诉苦,就是要借几个钱。

5、This car is a real pain in the neck. It’s always breaking down on me.

这部汽车实在让人头痛死啦。它三天两头总出毛病。

3、I really appreciate your cooperation.  我非常感激你的合作。

 

第11天:

语法/Grammar

She looked at him doubtfully after the proposal.  求婚之后她疑惑地看着他。

1、A staid-looking gentleman was upset at the dress of some youny people in the street.  一位样子古板的绅士,对大街上一些年轻人的穿着很反感。

2、”Just look at that one,” he barked to a bystander. “Is it a boy or a girl?”  “你看那人,他是个男的还是个女的?”他对一个旁观者喊道。

3、”It’s a girl. She is my daughter.”  “是女的,她是我女儿。”

4、”Oh,forgive me,” apologized the gentleman, “I didn’t know you were her mother.”  “噢,对不起,”那绅士道歉说,“我不知道您是她的妈妈。”

1、If you want to succeed,always force yourself to do more.  如果你想要成功,总是要强迫自己多做一点。

2、I succeeded in landing the job.  我成功地找到了工作。

3、If you try hard,you will succeed.  如果你努力,就会成功。

 

第25天:

2、I hope so–he certainly can’t make a living by kissing girls.  我希望是这样–他当然不能以吻女孩子谋生吧?

第28天:

a shoulder to cry on    患难时可以依赖的人

1、Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on once in a while.  任何人偶尔都需要一个在患难时可以依赖的人。

2、I really don’t know what to do.  我真是不知所惜。

3、Don’t worry. I can help you out. You know I’ll always give you a shoulder to cyr on.  别着急,我来帮你。你知道在你患难的时候我总是你可以依赖的人。
